Proposal to reduce waiting times to optimize the quality of care for patients undergoing specialized examinations at the María Auxiliadora hospital, Lima 2021-2022

Abstract
The purpose of the research was to establish how to improve the processes to optimize the quality of care for patients undergoing specialized examinations at the María Auxiliadora hospital, Lima 2021-2022; It is theoretically justified because its preparation was intended to give the starting point to carry out work procedures that emphasize internal processes, improving the outsourcing of specialized tests and it was possible to have a practical justification because the study allowed to report on the situation of the patients undergoing specialized tests; For which I use according to its purpose the type was applied, according to its level it was explanatory and according to its temporality it was transversal; A non-experimental design was used, since the characteristics of the variables studied were identified and described to propose changes in the problematic reality. The validity through the judgment of experts resulted in its applicability and the reliability was through Cronbach's Alpha, they were reliable with values of 0.849, 0.874 and 0.910. The data collection techniques were the survey, therefore, the population and sample consisted of 86 patients, the census sample was used. The results showed that the management improvement to optimize the quality of care for patients undergoing specialized examinations at the María Auxiliadora hospital, Lima 2021-2022, is adequate.
