Harmonizing neurons and heart, another way of education: State of the art

Abstract
Introduction. Emotional intelligence has become in recent years one of the main priorities in different instances of life and in this study we will analyze it from the field of education at its different levels, as it is of current interest. Aim. Know and deepen through a systematic review, on the investigations that have dealt with emotional intelligence to contribute to the scientific community according to the literature indexed in the Scopus, Dialnet, Redalyc, Scielo, ProQuest, Doaj, Latindex databases; among others, which include from 2017 to 2021, showing the trends that the different lines of research in this field are taking in recent years. Materials and methods. A bibliometric analysis on emotional intelligence was carried out, the final sample of which consists of 25 articles of works published in journals indexed in the databases. Results. The categories identified, analyzed and theorized were: title, database, language of publication, subject matter, journal, type of study, design, year of publication, research results. Conclution. Emotional Intelligence in education is a field of research that requires greater attention from Latin American researchers.
