Report of a surgical clinical case: Mucinous ovarian cystadenoma

Abstract
The present investigation deals with the case of a patient with a picture of acute abdominal pain and a large abdominal tumor, arrives at the Clínica Sur Hospital and based on clinical and imaging studies, the diagnosis of acute abdomen was postulated due to possible tumor twisting. ovary giant. The exploratory laparotomy showed a plastron cecal appendix and a giant tumor of the right ovary which, due to histopathological studies, turned out to be acute appendicitis and a benign mucinous ovarian cystadenoma.. Key Word: Acute appendicitis; giant ovarian tumor; benign mucinous cystadenoma.
