Tutorial action and emotional intelligence in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic

Abstract

This research arises from the problem that arises these days regarding the Tutorial Action and Emotional Intelligence in the face of the Covid 19 Pandemic in which the 2nd year students are immersed. High school year of the Julio C. Tello Educational Institution. The study was descriptive correlational crosssectional and non-experimental design. As a technique, the survey was used and the instruments were two questionnaires (for the tutorial action variable, the questionnaire proposed by the Ministry of Education (2011) was used and the Bar-On Inventory was used for the emotional intelligence variable. The results showed that the students perceive that the tutorial action and emotional intelligence are at a regular level, however in the monitoring dimension, 85% of the students consider that the level is bad and in the intrapersonal component dimension, 64 % perceive that the level is bad, in addition a high and significant correlation was found (rho = 0.901 and p = 0.001) between the tutorial action and the emotional intelligence of the 2nd year students.
