Resumen
EPECRE is an educational strategy that synthesizes the abilities to expose, ask, experiment, summarize, communicate and evaluate learning processes, the reason for the proposal in this research, whose main objective was to design and base the EPECRE strategy to develop inquiry skills in In the area of ??Science and Technology in secondary level students of the Karl Weiss Educational Institution in Chiclayo, this study was developed applying the action research methodology, with 34 students of the fourth grade of secondary school involved, with whom learning sessions were carried out to validate the proposal, using the interview guide, the rubric and the evaluation form as instruments, the results of which were processed through data triangulation, determining significant improvements in each of the proposed inquiry skills, reaching the conclusion that the strategy educational EPECRE, contributed to develop inquiry skills, showing fluency and mastery of the subject when they present, clarity to elaborate questions, adequate handling of the scientific method during experimentation, skills to summarize and communicate information and evaluate their learning process..
