Occupational health and safety in shrimp farming in maturation laboratory

Abstract
Introduction.This research consists in the design of an Occupational Health and Safety management system applied to the company CONSTAMAR SA whose main activity is aquaculture, the production of Nauplios de Camarón blanco Penaeus Vannamei. Objective Evaluate the state of the Safety Management System and Occupational Health based on Ecuadorian regulations to determine the different risk factors to which workers are exposed. Materials In the diagnosis, the verification list of compliance with the Legal Technical Requirements proposed in Resolution CD 333 of the IESS Occupational Risk Audit System is applied, the four elements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System are analyzed as Mandatory means of compliance for all companies subject to the IESS control regime. The various risk factors are determined with the use of the Triple Criteria Matrix (PGV), Results with the use of the risk identification methodology, activities were determined that are risk-generating, being the most significant risk factors Mechanical, Physical, estimated according to the moderate scale 110 equivalent to 83.97% important risks 15 equivalent to 11.45% and intolerable risks 6 that constitute 4.58% same as generate high impact on workers' health, Discussion is investigation has a practical application that could be used for other companies that develop a similar activity Conclusion The proposal of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System in the company is proposed as a recommended tool to preserve the health of workers.
